BORDER CONFERENCE
The Border Conference (officially known as the Border Intercollegiate Athletic Association) was founded in the fall 1931 with original members Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico State,
Northern Arizona (formerly
Arizona State Flagstaff) and New Mexico. Final track season was spring 1962.
The Conference meet was scheduled for May 11 at Arizona State but was later cancelled.

SKYLINE (MOUNTAIN STATES) CONFERENCE
The Skyline Conference (formally the Mountain States Athletic Conference) was formed in 1937
and was in operation through June 1962 when it was officially dissolved on July 1, 1962 after four of its
members (BYU, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming) departed to form the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
